Jonathan Brooks
President
As President, Jonathan L. Brooks is responsible for charting the LocateSmarter growth strategy. With more than two decades of Executive Leadership in the data industry, Jonathan has lead the development of data platforms that serve law enforcement, government, risk and receivables management. He has served on numerous boards from land conservation to global missions. Most recently, he co-founded a charity that benefits families dealing with adolescent Leukemia.

Teri Ettelson

Teri Ettelson joins the LocateSmarter team after nearly thirty years in healthcare and nonprofit leadership. Her experience in organizational and project management will support LocateSmarter's growth and innovation. Teri is key in helping LocateSmarter live its core values daily, with a focus on INTEGRITY in everything we do. Teri has served on several non-profit boards, and volunteers with students across the state of Iowa focusing on the financial literacy of high school students.

Brandon Medlin
Director, Business Development and Strategic Alliances
Brandon Medlin is responsible for the strategic partnerships. He joined the LocateSmarter team with over 10 years of experience in the debt collection industry and technology solutions, including key projects such as the development and implementation of a TCPA compliant dialing solution, managing proprietary collection software application and vendor management. Brandon attended Upper Iowa University where he studied business and marketing.

Michael Magarrell

Michael brings 30 years of experience in the BPO space to LocateSmarter, and uses that experience to solve real issues for our clients. Michael takes a consultative approach to building good partner relationships and often relies on his analytic capabilities to ensure he gets the solution right every time. Michael has dual bachelors degrees (Business Administration and eBusiness) and an MBA in Administration & Technology Management from University of Phoenix.

Brett spent the last decade providing solutions to the collection industry with companies focused on dialer technology, collection systems and print/mail solutions. His well-rounded knowledge of the industry makes Brett a great addition to our sales team. His enjoyment in helping guide clients through the buying process to make sure they have the best experience possible also fits with LocateSmarter's commitment to customer service. Additionally, Brett makes sure to stay current on the latest industry news through a variety of trusted publications and podcasts. Brett is a graduate of Dixie State University with a degree in Communication and Organizational Leadership.

Alex "SkipGuru" Price is a nationally recognized expert in the art of skip tracing and cyber tracking. He bring over 35 years of experience in the data and skip tracing industries to LocateSmarter. His focus is on educating and supporting clients that are using tools such as online search platforms.

Julie Anderson
Manager of Marketing and Operations
Julie Anderson comes from a background in debt collection and technology. For the past decade, she worked at a leading collection agency where she spearheaded projects such as client proposals, IT system migrations and client implementation. Prior to collections, Julie also worked in marketing for law enforcement software and geospatial services. Julie has a bachelor's degree in Communication/Public Relations from the University of Northern Iowa.

Terri Smock
Technical Project Manager
As Technical Project Manager, Terri works with the development team to meet product needs based on client feedback. Terri has a long history of implementing cutting-edge technology. She spent nearly 20 years in the mortgage industry, during which time she spearheaded the use of personal computers in the 1980s, configured networks in the 1990s, oversaw the digitization of mortgage documents and worked as an advanced business analyst.

Amy Deinert

Amy is the Operations Administrator for LocateSmarter, providing quality customer service and technical support to our clients. Prior to LocateSmarter, Amy worked in international sales for the powersports industry, and in medical equipment sales for a local hospital. She is a graduate of South Dakota State University with a bachelor’s degree in Consumer Affairs. Amy is passionate about effective communication and maximizing efficiency for our clients.

Warren Wulf

Warren has worked as a programmer/developer since he graduated from Wartburg College in 2000 with a B.A. in Mathematics and Computer Science. Warren came to LocateSmarter from the IT department of our parent company in 2014. After a brief detour to another local business, Warren came back in 2019 to rejoin the team. Warren is an avid outdoorsman who enjoys hunting, fishing and golfing.
