Do I have to change the format of my files to use LocateSmarter?
No. Our mapping tool lets you upload your files to LocateSmarter and then, label your fields through a dropdown menu of categories and customizable fields. Our ClientOUT mapping tool also allows you to control your file format to make transferring the data back into your collection system even easier.
Who can use LocateSmarter?
LocateSmarter is applicable to any industry that handles its own accounts receivables process, including debt collection agencies, financial services, healthcare, utilities, law firms and more. Some of our products do require your business to have permissible purpose under the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (GLBA).
What information do I need to get started?
To register, you will need your company’s FEIN, IP Address and other basic company information. After filling out our registration form online, a member of our Operations team will work through a credentialing process prior to approval.
With LocateSmarter Phone Append, how many phone numbers will I receive back?
You may choose whether you want one or multiple hits returned per pass through attempt. Regardless, we ensure that our data providers/sources only return the best quality data and no duplicated information.
How do you keep track of my skip activity?
LocateSmarter will provide a SkipID for every record in your results file. This uniquely identifies each time a record has processed which enables us to track the cost per record, previous phone numbers, the number of skip trace attempts, etc.
